Responding to 'The Future of Dental Regulation', our Chief Executive, Katherine Rake, said:

“Healthwatch across the country have told us that access to NHS dentistry is a real concern for thousands of patients. Our seat on this dental regulation board has enabled us to ensure that these views are taken into account when outlining improvements to dental regulation.

“We are particularly pleased to see an emphasis on how complaints can shape dental regulation and drive improvement in dentistry.

“We look forward to seeing the agreed actions materialise into concrete improvements that will benefit patients. In addition, we will continue to monitor through our network how patients’ dentistry needs are being met.”
