This report details the feedback which patients, family and visitors have shared with Healthwatch Sefton about Southport and Formby District General Hospital (Southport & Ormskirk Hospital NHS Trust). The majority of the feedback we receive is through local engagement and outreach activities. This report provides a snapshot of the feedback provided between June 2017 – June 2018. During this period Healthwatch Sefton received 119 completed reviews relating to the Trust. The main areas of feedback related to treatment and care, access to services, facilities/surroundings, staff communication and administration. In addition, there was feedback shared relating to the volunteers who work on the reception desk, with feedback focussing on how they support patients. We would welcome the feedback being shared with the volunteers to show what a positive impact they have in supporting patients and improving the overall experience of people accessing services at the Trust.
