Summary of report content
Morton House provides residential care for 11 people who live with epilepsy and a range of physical conditions. Six members of staff and eight residents were spoken to directly and another 3 residents and 1 member of staff were observed. This was an unscheduled E&V visit in that the care home were given up to 2 weeks’ notice of our intention to visit but not the time and date. The visit used a 0-5 star rating process on aspects of how people were treated: personal choice; Dignity in Care; Just like being at home; privacy and quality of life.
