Summary of report content
Healthwatch Wirral conducted an announced Enter and View visit to Marine View Lodge, a care home providing nursing care for up to 80 people.
The report found that care plans were regularly reviews and staff received mandatory training in core subjects. Residents are provided with snacks and drinks and intake is monitored by care staff. Marine View Lodge has a good relationship with visiting professionals who provide a range of services for the benefit of the residents. The home provides a full programme of activities for residents to enjoy. One resident spoke to the Healthwatch representatives and reported positive experiences of the home.
Recommendations were made in this report and a response from the provider has not been received.
