COVID-19: What people are telling us about their care

Find out what the public has been telling us about health and social care from April - June 2020, including the key issues people have faced because of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Between April and June, over 19,700 people shared their experiences of using health and social care with Healthwatch. This briefing looks at 150 reports published by local Healthwatch, as well as individual feedback from the public. It aims to provide health and social care professionals with a summary of the issues people have raised with us. 

What issues do we look at? 

  • The advice and information the public is seeking from Healthwatch
  • The impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on people's experience of health and social care
  • The digitalisation of health and social care services during the pandemic
  • How people feel about different areas of care, e.g. mental health services
