The board’s vision for patients, carers and service users sets out what the work overseen by the board aims to deliver by 2020 .

It describes ways in which people’s experiences of health and social care services will be improved by the better use of digital technology and provides a way for professionals and the public to judge progress towards this goal.

The vision was developed with the help of Healthwatch England and a range of other national health and social care organisations.
