Summary of report content
Healthwatch Surrey collected general feedback from people during the pandemic up to 31st May. In April, Healthwatch Surrey conducted a survey with 150 people about the pandemic.
The report found that some GPs were no longer making referrals and it was increasingly difficult to book appointments. There were positive experiences with hospital treatment and referrals due to the speed. However, delays and cancellations to services are impacting directly on people's wellbeing. Infection prevention and control practice can either build or reduce public confidence. People found it easy to keep up-to-date with information about how to stay safe during the pandemic.
