Summary of report content

In November 2017, Healthwatch Wandsworth have released data collected from service users regarding primary care services. It is not clear how many participants engaged with this piece of work, but the data contains responses to the following questions: - What could be done to help the public consider other professionals or services as an alternative to going to the GP? - Should reception staff have a role in signposting patients to other options for managing their health issue? Please also say why. - What are some of the concerns that you may have about reception staff signposting patients to other options? - How could GP practices make the public more aware of the alternative options available? - Who else should be involved in this work? (e.g. pharmacists, community leaders etc.) - Do you have any other suggestions or comments?
