Summary of report content
Healthwatch Sefton reports on the impact of their Enter and View visit to Ward 35 of the Aintree Hospital on 9 July 2019. They had been asked by the Trust to visit the ward and gather feedback from patients on all aspects of their treatment.
The report summarises the findings of the Enter and View visit and the changes made by the hospital as a result. These include changes to discharge planning, recruiting an activities co-ordinator, the purchase of new televisions, checking that the ward clocks are working, improving patient information boards, improving laundry facilities for patients who don’t have family to support them, and improved staffing levels.
