Summary of report content
This report outlined the findings from an enter and view visit to the Symons Medical Centre by Healthwatch Windsor, Ascot and Maidenhead on the 19th November 2019. Findings were collected via observation and surveys. Unfortunately the Patient Participation Group provided no response and the surgery has not responded to the recommendations that were made. Largely the findings were positive with improvements in peoples ability to get appointments being noted since this was raised previously via the GP Patient Survey. A new telephone booking system was introduced which appears to have made a difference for patients. The findings also showed that the majority of people only accessed the surgery website to find out opening times and awareness of the Patient Participation Group was low.Would you like to look at:
