Summary of report content

This report details a visit to a GP Surgery between the hours of 2pm and 4pm on the 19th November 2019. 28 patients completed a survey and observations were made with focus on the ability to make and get and appointment. No staff were talked to during this visit. Feedback on the service provided by the surgery was largely positive, however being able to get an appoint was 50:50 in terms of a positive to negative mix. People said that they are most likely to wait for an appointment to become available rather than use a different health care service such as a pharmacy or NHS111. Interestingly over 70% of respondent had access to the online booking service but around 10% actually use it. Several recommendations have been made and all have been positively responded to or actioned by the provider.
