Summary of report content
Healthwatch Peterborough undertook an Enter and View visit to Park Vista Care Home on 14 November 2016, following a CQC unannounced inspection in February. This visit was part of a series of ‘Enter and View’ visits to local care homes within the Peterborough area organised by Healthwatch Peterborough. They spoke to a number of residents and staff.
The report considers the building, facilities, layout and environment of the home, what the residents think of the home, the care provided and the activities on offer, food, activities and staff.
The report contains 5 recommendations covering infection control, publicising the CQC Action plan, keeping food fresh, providing easy read and large print versions of the menus, and involving residents and visitors in activity planning.
