Following a period of planning and implementation of significant changes to services in Sutton, particularly around changes to NHS services, Healthwatch Sutton sought the views of 142 local people about health and social care in the borough via a survey. They ran the same survey in 2018 and compared the results to see if there was any change.
The report found that the majority of respondents agreed that hospital (70%) and GP services (64%) were effectively run. People often responded more negatively in regard to health and social care services, compared to the 2018 results. Responses were evenly split when asked if people were aware that GPs were working together in groups called Primary Care Networks.
No recommendations were made in this report.
