Summary of report content

This report was written by Healthwatch Bristol following a previous session speaking to people at a service for mental health. The report was published October, 2016 with a group discussion taking place. A total of 12 people took part, which included both staff and users of the service. Overall sentiment was negative, people often felt not listened to and were concerned about both GP and other professionals reactions to their requests for help. The co-ordination of services around referral, from waiting time, to finding the right service, was a problem for many. A set of recommendations is not included in the report.
