Summary of report contentThis is an enter and view report conducted by Healthwatch Brighton and Hove 14 March, 2016. During the visit Healthwatch representatives spoke to 17 people, which included a mix of residents and relatives. A number of staff were also spoken to, but the number is unknown. The visit was announced. Overall the home was found to be operating to a good standard. Residents seemed to be happy with the care they were receiving. Recommendations were made as part of this report. A response from the home manager has been attached. Summary of recommendations: - Ensure hearing tests conducted regularly and ear cleaning maintained if necessary - Hearing aid maintenance training - Improving communication with friends and family about responsibilities
