Summary of report content

Healthwatch Halton conducted an Enter and View visit to St Patrick's Care Home in January 2020.

The report found that staff treated residents with dignity and respect. It was observed that residents were supported to eat their meals. Residents engage in wide range of activities within and outside of the home in the wider community which included outings to local shops and monthly trips to the Dementia Café. Residents and relatives were very happy with the care that was received at the home.

Healthwatch Halton recommended that the home considers a program of redecoration, ensires all latches on fire extinguishers are functional, and ensures that information displayed on noticeboards are up-to-date for residents and visitors.
