Local Healthwatch is in place to gather the views and experiences of people accessing services, to use this information to influence decisions and to provide information and advice to the local community about health and social care services. Healthwatch Kingston upon Hull visited St Clare House on 15th June 2017 at 1.30pm The report highlights St Clare House has many areas of good practice. These include: Signage in the home is clear and appropriately placed; the daily menu is very well advertised; interactions between members of staff and residents were friendly and professional; the communal living/dining area on the ground floor was clean and tidy; keen to encourage activities, internal and external to the home; entrances and exits to the home are wheelchair accessible.
