Summary of report content
Cheshire West in November 2016, conducted an Enter and View into Iddenshall Hall Care Home, the report did not state how many residents were spoken to. The reported stated that Iddenshall Hall appeared typical of an older building that was converted some time ago to provide a care environment. Representatives felt that further investment was required to provide modern refurbishment. Externally gardens and grounds were considered attractive and well maintained. Care provided appeared to be appropriate and delivered by a well-established and supported staff team. The report stated that it would like to see an improved activity programme at the home. A programme that is more supportive to individuals and provides both formal and informal encouragement and stimulation for residents (social and physical) including helping with everyday activities such as flower arranging, handicrafts, drawing, colouring, ‘Daily Sparkle’ activities newsletter and group games. The report recommended that recruitment for a new Activity Co-ordinator should have high priority. As the time of publication no response from the provider was included.Would you like to look at:
