Summary of report content
In June 2017 Healthwatch Cheshire undertook an Enter and View to Heliosa Care Home. Healthwatch Cheshire as part of its work plan monitor nursing and care provision across the area. From observations and discussions with staff and residents, the main themes from the report were: • Residents at Heliosa seemed happy safe and contented • The staff appeared caring and were observed being responsive to residents needs • The home was clean with a welcoming feel to the visitor and corridors were clear of clutter A number of observations and recommendations were made within the report and included those below: • Toilet signage to be improved • Alternative arrangements should be in place to allow activities to continue when the activity co-ordinator is on sick leave or holiday • Better use of picture frames/wall-inset panels • The website requires updating At the time of the report there was no response included from the provider.Would you like to look at:
