Summary of report content
Healthwatch Bracknell Forest conducted an unannounced Enter and View visit, as part of a planned set of visits looking at the care provided, specifically around how the homes are able to support residents with additional needs. Healthwatch Bracknell Forest visited Far End Residential Home, on 26/09/2018. The summary of findings included: All of the residents feel listened to, supported and respected. The majority of the residents really enjoyed attending the day centre and all the activities and services it provides. Other than attending the day centre and medical appointments, residents do not appear to access the community regularly. Two of the residents really seemed to enjoy spending time by themselves in their rooms pursuing interests such as watching television, reading and doing puzzles.
