Healthwatch Croydon conducted an announced Enter and View visit, in order to capture the views and experiences of patients, family members/friends and staff. Healthwatch Croydon visited Sunrise Senior Living of Purley on 24/02/2016. Sunrise Senior Living of Purley is a home that provides residential and nursing care for up to 119 residents the accommodation is spread over four floors. The overall impression was that Sunrise Senior Living of Purley residents were happy with the care and treatment. One particular resident did mention concerns regarding agency staff and weekend staff. Residents were given the privacy and dignity was respected. Staff felt the managers supported them in their training and development. This report contains 8 recommendation in relation to patient information, staffing levels, environment and meal times.
