Summary of report content

Healthwatch Greenwich conducted an Enter and View visit to Charlton Park Care Home in January 2020 and spoke to one resident.

The report found that the home was clean and tidy but with dated interior. Activities took place during the visit and interactions with staff and residents were good. The recommendations from a 2018 visit had not been actioned in this follow up visit, including displaying staff photographs, redecoration and information being displayed. However, dementia signage is now in use.

A number of additional recommendations were made including redecoration, displaying photos and having dementia friendly presentation of activities schedules.

The service provider did not respond.
