Summary of report content

Healthwatch Cumbia conducted an unannounced Enter and View visit to Bradbury House, a privately owned 18 bed Residential Care Home, on 28 January 2014 as part of a planned programme of work. The Healthwatch Cumbria Enter and View Authorised Representatives overall impression was of a very well-run home with the residents and families reporting positively about their lives and experiences there. Where there were negative comments these related to one off incidents. The report noted that the staff and management at the home show good dedication to the home and its residents and the recommendations made within the report are suggestions to further enhance the high standard of care observed during the visit. There is no response from the provider included in the report.
