Summary of report content
Healthwatch Wirral conducted an Enter and View on Bebington Care Home a purpose-built home providing residential and nursing care for up to 87 people with varying needs on 26th August 2014. This unannounced visit was arranged on request from a services regulator or commissioner. Conclusions by the Enter and View representatives reported that: the manager appeared to be motivated and had introduced some good initiatives; residents appeared to be well cared for and happy comfortable; that the home had a pleasant atmosphere and staff observed were kind and attentive to residents needs. Residents commented on the friendliness and kindness of staff. The report set out 5 recommendations including: reviewing the activities programme; continue with refurbishment and development of a dementia friendly environment; and include staff in decision making.Would you like to look at:
