Summary of report content

Healthwatch Sunderland conducted an Enter and View visit in September 2019 to Archers Park care home. The home provides support to up to 40 residents aged over 65. 

The report found that the management was positive and supportive to staff and residents. Residents feel that staff are well cared for and were know their needs. There was a good range of food on offer and staff encouraged residents to eat and drink throughout the day. All staff had access to home visits from health professionals, such as GPs, opticians and chiropodists. All cultural and religious needs are met when required. The home was clean and tidy with residents reporting that the home is a friendly environment. 

No recommendations were made and no service provider response was collected.
