Summary of report content
Healthwatch Swindon conducted a survey during the Coronavirus pandemic and collected views about people's experiences from 175 respondents.
The report found that the pandemic impacted on people's mental health and wellbeing. People, generally, found information easy to find and understand. However, needed more clarity on GP access, and hospital appointments. Positive feedback was collected about phone and video consultations. However, those experiencing cancer treatment cancellations grew anxious. Most people were able to get the medication they needed. For those that had received support from a local voluntary or community organisation, their experience of this had been positive and they were grateful for the help they had been given.
The report is to be shared with stakeholders across Swindon
