Healthwatch Hackney report on their achievements in 2020/21

  • They identified 7,889 issues from 2,380people and shared this feedback with local providers and commissioners
  • 41 volunteers helped them to carry out our work by providing an estimated 2,192 hours of unpaid support
  • They produced special reports on residents' experiences of the COVID-19 pandemic, GP reception services, caring for others, living in temporary accommodation, and dental services.
  • Their Tweets were seen 154,000 times on Twitter, an increase of 23%. They have 1,754 followers on Twitter and 298 people follow them on Facebook.
