Healthwatch Worcestershire report on their achievements during 2020/21 in their Annual Report.
Despite the Covid-19 pandemic which curtailed face to face engagement, they had contact with over 750 people. They have also reached out to local communities, including through a Reference and Engagement Group - a network of over 100 organisations and “Experts by Experience”, to help them gather people’s views. They have prioritised engagement with:
Children and young people
- People from minority ethnic communities
- Faith communities
- LGBTQ+
- People with a learning disability
- People with mental health issues
- Carers
