About this event
Who is this for?
This is an open event.
What will you learn?
This online event will explore where patient and public engagement is right now in the NHS and what needs to change. Hear from speakers including Imelda Redmond, our National Director, discuss why patient and public engagement needs to move beyond being seen as a ‘nice to have’ to a ‘must have’.
Speakers will reflect on the following questions:
- Which areas are doing well with patient and public engagement and what is driving this?
- Do integrated care systems (ICSs) present an opportunity to do things differently?
- What is the relationship between the NHS and the public? Does this need to change?
- What does this relationship mean for how local systems work with their users and local communities?
Hear about speakers’ experiences of engaging with the public as well as practical examples.
